Johnell and Al Bos of Orchard Bluff had their grandson, Collin Burger, and Collin’s friend, Shane McMahon, visiting a few days after the 4th weekend. The boys are from Palos Park, Illinois
On Tuesday, Collin caught a 1 1/2 pound bass, and Shane caught a 1/1/2 pound walleye. The next day Shane caught a 12 pound, 36 inch northern on a spinner rig and a night crawler, trolling 30 feet behind the boat. The northern was released and swam away to safety.
